Happenings

Hello friends...

I know it's been a while, but life has been busy!

Last year I started a Young Adult book subscription box business called BOOKSHIP with fellow writer Tiffany Berryman. We've slowly but surely been growing our customer base all while getting to read exciting upcoming releases and gather bookish goodies to share. It's been a blast!

It hasn't left as much time for writing though, something I lament and intend to correct.  I did start a total rewrite of my YA soft sci-fi novel RED DUST. I'd really love to get it out there for querying but it needed a major overhaul before I did. I'm also re-entering the world of Twitter so feel free to follow and comment when you see me around! @MBMulhall

6 Days and Counting!

I cannot believe that Driven will be released in a mere six days!  It's been a long journey since I originally pitched the idea to Harmony Ink but I'm excited to see it out there in the world and watch the reviews come in (even though that's always the scary part of the process!).

You can pre-order your copy from the Harmony Ink site (www.harmonyinkpress.com/books/driven-by-mb-mulhall-454-b) or from Amazon.

Please remember the best thing you can do for authors is review their books after reading them. Good or bad, we love them all!

Official First Round Edits for Driven

7/11/2016

Got the email yesterday with global notes and the first round of edits for Driven.  It's exciting that the publishing process is going full steam ahead, but at the same time, opening that document is scary!  While I know my writing is not perfect, no one wants to see a huge amount of red and comments on those documents. Minor issues would be best, but at the same time, editing notes are how we learn to polish our work in the hopes to not make the same mistakes next time.

I've got a week to get it all done and sent back in. Wish me luck!

Things are coming together for Driven's release in March. Just got back blurb info for the back cover! I'm thrilled they took what I gave them and tweaked it to perfection.  What do you think?

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As an eighteen-year-old ex-con living on the streets, Oliver doesn't have it easy.  Don't show weakness and survive to repent are the daily mottoes he lives by.

A chance encounter with a clumsy older lady leads him to temporary room and board in exchange for being the errand boy for spinster twins in a fairy-tale home—much to the dismay of their concerned neighbor Simon.

Inside, Oliver fights a battle between staying and going. The guilt of a horrible accident eats away at him, keeping him from getting too close to anyone, even when sparks start to ignite a heart he long thought broken.
